I smell smoke

I'm sitting in my old room. Something is very wrong. I smell smoke. I can't feel heat but I'm sure the house is on fire. Brother won't let me leave though. He's blocking the bedroom door.

Can I burn? Is that possible? Will that kill me?

I know I would die in the past but with my new body would I still burn to death?

Is brother trying to kill me now?

There's someone coming up the stairs...
